Asymptotics of Hermite-Padé Polynomials and Related Convergence Results — A Summary of Resultspes have identical asymptotics. It turns out that a certain determinantal condition is necessary and sufficient for the identical asymptotics. The asymptotic distributions of the zeros of the polynomials as vell as the domains of convergence for the three types of approximants are characterized by certain logarithmic potentials.
