Structural Health Monitoring of Aircraft Structures,sess the structural condition is of the utmost importance for safe and efficient operation of aircraft. Also, to achieve lighter structures, damages are allowed to exist in aircraft during operation as long as they are within predetermined and safe limits. Thus, aircraft structures are designed according to a damage tolerance philosophy.
