Analysis of?the?Unsteady Loads on?Train Models in?Wind Tunnels incoming flow disturbances are present. Phase-averaging was used to filter out the part of the lateral force fluctuation related to the incoming flow disturbance. The resulting lateral force response depends strongly on the frequency of the incoming flow disturbances.

A Miniature Flow Sensor Capable of?Determining the?Instantaneous High-Frequency Wall Shear Stress Fland direction instantaneously at high temporal resolution. Hence, the novel probe enables significant gain in sensor capabilities compared to the conventional probe configuration. However, the directional resolution becomes more and more biased and damped with increasing frequency.
