VSCM: A Virtual Server Consolidation Manager for Cluster paper, we propose the VSCM manager for virtual cluster, which solves the problems in the consolidation from a globally optimal view and also takes migration overhead into account. Experiment results in virtual cluster demonstrate that, VSCM can greatly reduce the number of servers and the migration overhead.

Dynamic Advance Reservation for Grid System Using Resource Poolsn method for hybrid variable types is presented. Then, .-set Availability Prediction Admission Control (.APAC) algorithm is described in detail. Experimental results show that .APAC can significantly increase success ratio of reservation, resource utilization and stability of grid system.

A Load-Aware Data Placement Policy on Cluster File Systemstorage servers. It can make full use of the aggregate disk bandwidth of all storage servers efficiently. Performance evaluation shows that our policy will improve the aggregate I/O bandwidth by 10%-20% compared with random data placement policy especially under mixed workloads.

Informed Live Migration Strategies of Virtual Machines for Cluster Load Balancinglancing scenario. Based on our experiment results, we propose an informed live migration strategy which includes affinity-aware decision making and workload-aware migration to improve the efficiency of configuration of the virtualized cluster.

A Way of Key Management in Cloud Storage Based on Trusted Computings how to store keys, how to backup keys, and how to share keys. Based on the HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System), we put a way of key management into practice, and survey the benefits that such an infrastructure will provide to cloud users and providers, and we also survey the time cost it will bring to us.
