Complete Positivity,shown that reduced dynamics can always be written as a sum of operators, but only completely positive reduced dynamics can be written as a Kraus operator sum. We will briefly discuss the claim that complete positivity is a physical requirement of nature, and we will point out some problems with this

As always, rigorous experiments are required to test the complete positivity assumption of quantum operations, but as far as we are aware, no such experiments have yet been conducted.. Until such experiments are performed, we are left with a mathematical theory that seems to allow negative channel

Measures of Complete Positivity,simple conditions. If the composite dynamics are described by “l(fā)ocal unitaries” or if the initial composite state has “zero discord,” then completely positive dynamics are guaranteed. These proofs are shown below. Other cases require directly testing the system for complete positivity.
