The Lagrangian Formalismies for a general Field Theory. The approach based on the Poincaré-Cartan form is also briefly discussed. Then symmetries and conserved quantities are defined and obtained by N?ther theorem. Finally some useful generalizations of symmetries and, consequently, of N?ther theorem are presented.

Gauge Natural Theoriesuld master gauge natural bundles together with their lift properties as well as Lie derivatives (see Chapter 5) and the Lagrangian formalism introduced in Chapter 6. Natural theories in Chapter 7 are very similar to the gauge natural case. The reader should thence also have some ideas about the material contained in Chapter 7.
