Recent Advances in 1D and 2D ZnO Nanostructure-Based Photosensors,as doping, composites, sensitization, and morphological tuning have been reported to overcome the above limitations by improving the photo-response of the sensor. The current review gives an overview of the various factors affecting photo-sensing performance and recent advances in ZnO-based photosensors.

Carbon Dots and Their Sensing Behavior in Organic Medium,es are shown. Finally, as an example, the proper way to design a sensor based on quenching of CDs’ blue PL emission in the vicinity of 2,4,6-trinitrophenol (TNP) molecules in an organic medium is elaborated. The sensor is reasonably stable and selective towards TNP in contrast to other nitrophenol analogues.
