Mesoscale Meteorological Model Evaluation Techniques with Emphasis on Needs of Air Quality Modelso air quality models. Our definition of “mesoscale” is broad enough to encompass so-called regional models. The characteristics of existing model evaluations are compared with the components of an optimum comprehensive model evaluation system.

Statistical Evaluation of the Mesoscale Model Resultshe models individually, that is, for FITNAH (chapter 9), Tel Aviv (chapter 10), RAMS (chapter 11), and HOTMAC (chapter 12). In this chapter the results are examined as a whole using the statistical approach suggested in chapter 6.
