Selectivity and Ion Speciation in Cation-Exchange Resins,e utility of this approach has been tested and is shown to be applicable to a weakly dissociated cation-exchange resin as well as to the fully dissociated one. The insight gained from this study is believed to be useful to the analysis of mass transport phenomena in cation-exchange materials.
