Real Group Orbits on Flag Manifolds,We gather, partly with proofs, various results on the action of a real form of a complex semisimple group on its flag manifolds. In particular, we discuss the relationship between the cycle spaces of open orbits thereon and the crown of the symmetric space of non-compact type.

,Chern–Weil Theory for Certain Infinite-Dimensional Lie Groups,Chern–Weil and Chern–Simons theory extend to certain infinite-rank bundles that appear in mathematical physics. We discuss what is known of the invariant theory of the corresponding infinite-dimensional Lie groups. We use these techniques to detect cohomology classes for spaces of maps between manifolds and for diffeomorphism groups of manifolds.
