Construction of Wavelets via MRA,heory. This is a new and remarkable idea which deals with a general formalism for construction of an orthogonal basis of wavelets. Indeed, MRA is central to all constructions of wavelet bases. Mallat’s brilliant work (Mallat?.,.,.) has been the major source of many new developments in wavelet analysis and its wide variety of applications.
