Die transurethrale Laserapplikation zur Therapie der BPH — Ein Vergleich verschiedener VerfahrenBereits 1979 wurden erste Untersuchungen zur transurethralen Applikation von Laserstrahlung zur Behandlung von Prostataerkrankungen durch B?wering und Hofstetter publiziert. Das Verfahren wurde beim Prostatakarzinom angewendet; nach einer initialen transurethralen Resektion erfolgte in zweiter Sitzung die Laserapplikation (Nd:YAG).
