Errors in Eddy Correlation Turbulence Measurements from Aircraft: Application to HAPEX-MOBILHY,Aircraft are excellent platforms for measuring atmospheric turbulence. Due to their mobility, aircraft can make a wide variety of measurements over a large domain in a short length of time and the aircraft flight pattern can be easily adjusted to accommodate to changes in the atmosphere and to accommodate new measurement techniques.
