Lake Ladoga and Lake Onego models of fish communities, Ladoga ringed seal. Only fish community models not algorithmically connected with the other models are discussed in this chapter. In these models net zooplankton and net benthos production are used as the feeding base for planktophage and benthophage fish.

Estimating potential changes in Lakes Ladoga and Onego under human and climatic impact, since the signing of the Kyoto Protocol by the Russian Federation. This fact emphasizes the importance of studies on estimates of possible changes in large stratified lakes ecosystems — the largest freshwater reservoirs. In the northwestern part of Russia these are Lakes Ladoga and Onego.
