Is mathematics syntax of language?, VIIt is well known that Carnap has carried through, in great detail the conception that mathematics is syntax of language. However, not enough attention has been paid to the fact that the philosophical assertions which form the original content and the chief interest of this conception have by no means been proved thereby.
