Taurine Effects on Ion Channels of Cardiac Muscle,ic effect was not mediated through an increase in slow Ca. current (Sawamura et al., 1986b). The effects of taurine on the Ca. slow current in guinea pig myocytes depended on the external Ca. concentration (Sawamura et al., 1990).
