描述."Introduction to Skin Biothermomechanics and Thermal Pain" introduces the study of coupled bio-thermo-mechanical and neural behavior of skin tissue in response to thermal and mechanical loads. The research in this book focuses on the theoretical modeling and experimental investigation of heated skin tissue in order to provide a predictive framework for thermal therapies of diseased tissue in clinics. Furthermore, by developing solution tools, it focuses on changes in treatment parameters leading to more effective therapies. The book is intended for researchers and scientists in Bioengineering, Heat Transfer, Mechanics, Biology and Neurophysiology, as well as clinicians. Dr. Feng Xu is a research fellow at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. Dr. Tianjian Lu is a professor at the School of Aerospace, Xi‘a(chǎn)n Jiaotong University, Xi‘a(chǎn)n, China. Dr. Xu and Dr. Lu are also affiliated with Biomedical Engineering and Biomechanics Center at Xi‘a(chǎn)n Jiaotong University, Xi‘a(chǎn)n, China..

Introductionof normal physiological range. Furthermore, in medicine, various thermal therapeutic methods have been used widely to cure disease/injury involving skin tissue, where the objective is to induce thermal injury precisely within skin tissue but without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue.

Analysis of Skin Bioheat Transferurier theory based model are obtained using the Green function method. Furthermore, non-Fourier bioheat transfer models are developed for skin tissue. Finally, the models for considering sweating and hair effect are also developed.

Skin Structure and Skin Blood Flowotects underlying tissues from different injuries such as mechanical, heat, cold, biological injuries; ④ skin works as a reservoir for food and water: adipose tissue and prevents excess water loss; ⑤ skin assist in the process of excretion such as H.O, Salt, Urea, Lactic acid and it serves as a seat of origin for Vitamin D.
