Rigid-Body Motion,um. The equations of motion (translational and rotational) of a rigid body are written. Conservation of angular momentum of a rigid body is studied, and the conditions for equilibrium of a body are examined. The rolling of a body on a plane surface is studied and the concept of gyroscopic motion is introduced.
