Clinical Results in MR-Guided Therapy for Malignant Gliomass with incomplete tumour removal. A 0.5 T scanner was used to criticize the extent of resection during surgery. In total no significant difference could be found, however there is a tendency that complete tumour removal seems to be associated with a slightly increased median survival time.

Intraoperative Ultrasound Imaging: Comparison of Pathomorphological Findings in US Versus CT, MRI anble. In our opinion, intraoperative US imaging is an excellent tool for localization of cerebral and medullar lesions and for detailed description of their interior. This indicates a widespread applicability of this method in neurosurgery as an anatomical link between preoperative imaging and the reality of the operative field.
