Introduction,. In addition, when resection of affected foci was carried out in intestinal anisakiasis, larvae were not always found as they sometimes pass through the wall, extending into the abdominal cavity. For the above reasons intestinal anisakiasis is found less frequently than the gastric form.

Radiographic Features of Intestinal Anisakiasis,was edema and/or stenosis of the bowel. The degree of edema or stenosis differed due to the wide spectrum of clinical presentation. However, we concluded that radiological evaluation might be helpful in establishing the diagnosis.

Anisakinae in Sanin Waters of the Japan Sea,y in the Sanin District. A total of 49 cases of stomach anisakiasis were reported between 1982 and April 1987 as sample data from a hospital clinic of internal medicine in Yon ago City by Shabana and Miura in 1987 [18]. This figure is equal to the total number of cases of stomach anisakiasis which occured in Nagano Prefecture prior to 1984.

Surface Ultrastructure of Anisakidae Larvae,remity, and the cuticular structures of the larvae. These studies are essential to identify the larva in tissue sections, larval fragments from gastric and intestinal anisakiasis patients or a worm passed through the intestine. The classification of Anisakidae larvae was determined according to the system introduced by Koyama [4].

Clinical Features of Intestinal Anisakiasis,st relationship divides them into larvae which penetrate the intestinal wall and larvae which are discharged through the anus. The larvae which penetrate the intestinal wall are further divided into those which either stop in the wall, or those which perforate through.
