Centralized and Distributed Detection,event is observed many times and the decision is based on a sequence of random vectors. With an increasing availability of high-dimensional streaming data in 6G era, this sequential detection becomes more and more important. In this chapter, not only the centralized detectors but also distributed ones tailored for AIoT will be introduced.

Information Theory in Distributed Wireless Network,uted network such as the IoT. Moreover, multi-user design with intermittent connectivity is one of the key challenges for 5G millimeter wave and 6G THz systems. In this chapter, information theory for some important distributed networks, possibly with link intermittence, will be discussed.
