描述A cutting-edge review of the fundamental biological principles underlying the more common inflammatory disorders of the nervous system. Neuropsychiatric SLE,han 90% in recent studies (.). The functions of TNF-α, IL-1, and TGF-β in the context of neuroinflammation have been described in detail elsewhere in this chapter; therefore, in this section, we will discuss only the potential roles these cytokines have in CNS development and physiological functions.
