Inhaled Asbestos Fibers Produce Complement-Derived Chemotactic Factor(s) on Alveolar Surfacesaddition, rats treated with cobra venom factor as well as complement-deficient mice exhibit significant diminution of macrophage accumulation at sites of asbestos deposition.
