Friendship and Camaraderie in Collaborative Anthropologyat friendship is usually conceptualized from a Western point of view and rather tends to obfuscate power imbalances and inequalities. In this chapter the idea of camaraderie is proposed as an alternative relationship model for collaborative anthropology, as it is explicitly political and determined by engagement in a common project.
