In situ characterization methodology, uncertainties arise whenever discrepancies between prediction and experiment are existent. To overcome these limitations, a characterization methodology is sought that permits to capture the vessel’s mechanical response under internal pressure loading. In light of the aforementioned, this chapter aims to answer the first research question.
