PET in Brain Gliomas — Biological and Morphological Aspectsnly in an indirect and empirical way. An increasing number of tracers developed for positron emission tomography (PET) can give more direct, and in many cases more specific, information about tumour biology. DOPE — A Fast Method to Measure CSF Motiondy bulk motion and local CSF pulsations. DOPE (double phase encoding) is a new MR method (Hennig 1988) that allows one to measure quantitatively the CSF flow over a wide region within seconds during routine examinations. The flow patterns in normal volunteers and in patients with suspected disturbed CSF circulation will be discussed.
