A Historical Review, flammability measurement is still not finalized. There is some inconsistency of concepts between various platforms. Over two centuries, different groups have developed different interests on flammability. This work is built upon various historical interests on combustion safety.

Classical Flammability Theories,Existing flammability theories are reviewed in this chapter. Empirical rules, correlations and ISO methods are discussed and applied in solving practical problems. Four Flammability diagrams, designed with various stresses, are introduced. Different problems are solved to show the capability of the existing flammability theories.
