Multivariable Identification of Active Magnetic Bearing Systems,rucial issue. System identification is therefore an important prerequisite for fast and reliable commissioning. Reported algorithms have difficulties to estimate the real unstable poles in magnetic bearing systems. Thus, a novel identification algorithm has been developed. Experimental results are included.

Vibration Control of a Nonlinear Beam System,. In nonlinear dynamic systems the steady-state response often exhibits certain frequency ranges where two or more solutions of the system equations coexist. Our objective is to reduce the amplitude of the response by controlling the system into its natural solution with lower amplitude.

These projects require research on the dynamics of such a robot under the simultaneous actions of the gravitational fields of the planet Mars and its satellite (Phobos or Daimos) taking into account impacts of the robot on the satellite surface.
