Changes in Serum Lipoprotein Profiles During Puberty — A Longitudinal Study of Dresden Schoolchildree of 16 and the beginning of the twenties [2,8, 9]. In both sexes these variables increase after puberty. Because the sexual maturation in girls is finished 1–2 years earlier than in males the unexpected sex-difference could be the result of that age difference in sexual maturation at least in part.

Different Lipoprotein Patterns in Men and Women Examined by Coronary Angiography smoking habits (discriminant analysis). In contrast to the findings in male, lipoprotein levels in young female with CAD are lower than in older female patients..Differences could be caused by the considerable menopausal changes of lipoprotein pattern in women.

Effects of Different Oral Contraceptives on Apolipoprotein Et, all three different contraceptives led to a significant decrease in plasma apolipoprotein E concentrations. The mean decrease of apolipoprotein E with respect to the apo E phenotpye was 15% for apo E 3/3 and 21% for apo E 3/2 phenotypes, respectively.
