Favorable-Pressure-Gradient Influence on Supersonic Film Cooling with Turbulent Main Flow end, a fundamental direct-numerical-simulation study has been performed using largely the same setup as in the ZPG case to elucidate the influence of a ‘favorable’ pressure gradient on the cooling and mixing region for a superheated-steam flow with initial Mach number 3.3, cooled by helium injection with Mach 1.8.

Euclidean and Manhattan distances also provide good performance based on our validation metrics, while Mahalanobis and Canberra distances are not suitable for detecting of ladybird beetles.

Simulating Binary Neutron Star Mergerstivistic hydrodynamics. Within our research project, we use numerical-relativity simulations of binary systems to investigate matter at supranuclear densities, to measure the expansion rate of our Universe, and to calibrate theoretical models for the emitted gravitational and electromagnetic waves.
