Liquidity supply and adverse selection in a pure limit order book market, liquidity supply and adverse selection costs are inversely related. Furthermore, adverse selection cost estimates based on our structural model and those obtained using popular model-free methods are strongly correlated. This indicates the robustness of the theory-based approach.

Modelling financial transaction price movements: a dynamic integer count data model,onship between price movements and other marks of the trading process. Based on density forecast methods modified for the case of discrete random variables we show that our model is capable to explain large parts of the observed distribution of price changes at the transaction level.

A multivariate integer count hurdle model: theory and application to exchange rate dynamics,pula functions, we allow for a general form of dependence between the marginal processes, which is able to pick up the complex nonlinear dynamics of multivariate financial time series at high frequencies.
