,J?rgen Hoffmann-J?rgensen (1942–2017),J?rgen Hoffmann-J?rgensen, docent emeritus in the Department of Mathematics at Aarhus University, Denmark, died on the 8th of December 2017. He was 75 years old. He is survived by Karen, his wife of fifty years, his mother Ingeborg, his brother Bent and his niece Dorthe.
