Raman Scattering by Free Carriers in Semiconductor Heterostructuresnsional systems. Experimental results of both single-particle and collective excitations are discussed for various semiconductor systems involving single heterostructures, multiquantum well structures, and doping superlattices. Most of the structures are grown by molecular beam epitaxy based on GaAs as the prominent example.
