Accessibility of Primary Bile in Liver Cell CultureFor the study of the biophysical and biochemical mechanisms involved in bile secretion, it is a prerequisite to know the composition of canalicular bile. Here, we describe a primary cell culture system, which allows the sampling of primary bile as well as the electrophysiological analysis of bile secretion.
