Philipp RitzenIn this paper we want to review the development of pipelined and SAR ADCs from basic concepts to novel techniques. We will demonstrate that there are quite a lot of similarities and that there are a few major discrepancies. Based on this we draw comparisons and point out specific strengths and weaknesses of the individual architectures.

Philipp RitzenBased on the requirements of modern circuit design techniques the most important characteristics of the system simulation tool ELDO are discussed. The basic algorithms implemented in ELDO as well as by pre-and postsimulation methods the efficient way for the usage of simulation techniques during the design phase are shown.

gital signal processing circuitry on one single chip. In this contribution an overview of sensor interface systems is given. It will be demonstrated that the above objective is hard to achieve, and is strongly depending on the technologies involved. Some temperature, pressure and chemical interface circuits will be analyzed and discussed.
