Post Processing of SNR Based Handover,In this chapter a novel soft handover mechanism for DVB-H is described which is based on measuring the Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF)of the signal to noise ratio (SNR) by the DVB-H terminal receiver front-end. Details of the algorithm are given and simulation was done to prove the benefits of such a soft handover scheme.
