A Fast Method for Retinal Disease Classification from OCT Images Using Depthwise Separable Convolutces the complexity of the network by reducing trainable parameters and by reducing time and space complexity. The method was tested on the public dataset OCT2017. Experimental results show the proposed method gives a promising result with better execution time compared to the standard CNN.
