Experimental Measurement of Crystallization PressureIn the preceding paper** we pointed out that the measured values of crystallization pressure vary greatly. Our tentative theoretical study of growth in a crystal subject to a unilateral pressure has shown that the pressure sufficient to stop growth agrees well with the larger crystallization pressures found by experiment [1].

We give here some data on the effects of ultrasonics on monocrystals of potash alum.
