Geodesy: Foundation for exploring the planets, the solar system and beyond,oons (including our own Moon), observations beyond the solar system, and the exploration of space in general. Examples of the first two of these include Planetary Geodesy and Radio Science, where the GGOS infrastructure is a requirement for making and interpreting measurements for these sciences; we include a section on each.
