Linking Gender Vulnerability and DisastersSome aspects of the modelling of embedded triply-periodic minimal surfaces (ETPMS) by both soap films and plastic models are discussed. Eight new examples of possible ETPMS are introduced. Interference-diffraction patterns obtained by reflecting laser light from soap films with non-zero Gaussian curvature are described.
