Building the Client-Side App: Part 1,this chapter discusses revivalist ministers and their meeting places. Many aspects of revivalist sacred space communicated the masculinity and power of celebrity ministers, and Woodworth-Etter and McPherson constructed Pentecostal revival worship spaces to create spaces that displayed their power as ministers and their status as womanly women.
