Gambling Policies and Law in Austriaease the gambling revenue. Based on three high court decisions, the article discusses the monopoly’s conformity with EU law. Firstly, it presents an overview of the Austrian gambling market. Secondly, it shows the structure and the objectives of the monopoly. Lastly, it will take a closer look on the beneficiaries of gambling.
