Conclusion and Outlook, on SC when exposed to oxidative stress, the effects of SB need further research. Because even if SB has no direct protective effect on DRG exposed to oxidative stress, as the short-chain fatty acid propionate (Grüter et al., 2023b), SB can indirectly support a damaged nerve.
