,Human Eyeblink Classical Conditoning in Normal Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease,ly or not at all may be related to the abnormally functioning hippocampus and loss of hippocampal CA1 pyramidal cells. Alzheimer’s patients and patients with Down’s syndrome and AD consistently perform poorly in eyeblink conditioning, but patients with dementia diagnosed as cerebrovascular dementia
