Secondary Metabolites of Cyanobacteria and Drug Development,mixture of NRPS and polyketide synthases (PKS) modules. We discussed the important metabolites of cyanobacteria and their biosynthetic metabolic pathways. Various recent approaches in extraction of novel secondary metabolites from cyanobacteria are discussed with novel biosynthetic gene clusters found in them.
