Modifying Test-Mass Dynamics: Double Optical Spring,uble optical springs. We explore the frequency dependence of the optical spring effect. In particular, we show that the frequency dependence of double optical springs allows us to create a “negative inertia”, which cancels the positive inertia of the test-mass with the mechanical response significantly enhanced.
