Literature Review,This chapter is divided into two main sections. The first section presents background on forces acting on the single tine, a brief illustration of the most famous draft force analytical models. The second section is related to the soil profile parameter.

Draft Force Prediction Approach,This chapter explains a model to predict the draft force acting on varying standard single tines by using principles of soil mechanics and soil profile evaluation as presented in Eq. (6.1) (Al-Neama & Herlitzius, 2017).

Conclusions,The horizontal, vertical, and draft forces (total force) increase linearly with the speed-depth interaction term, while they increased quadratically with the depth for all tines.
