Conclusion and Recommendations for ActionAt the outset of the enquiry we undertook to seek the answer to an apparently simple question: If other members of the European Union form a monetary union with a single currency (as seems likely), and weighing up the balance of advantages and disadvantages, should Britain join? At the end of this process five main conclusions have emerged.
