Transmission Electron Microscopy,llosum, anterior commissure, and hippocampal commissures. Perhaps the most basic questions to be posed regarding the anatomy of these structures relates to their composition. What fibers do they transmit? Do all cortical areas have interhemispheric connections? If not, which areas do and which do not?

Application to Biochemical Systems, (Stein, 1977; Rhoton .., 1981; Apuzzo .., 1982) are familiar and well established. Division of the corpus callosum for control of seizures has been less widely practiced, but shares many of the fundamental principles of the older procedures.
