Optical and Electron Paramagnetic Properties of Radicals in Naphthalene and Anthracene Crystalscules (the aryl-type radical, referred as A-radical) has a half-occupied orbital and the crystal containing these radicals would offer an interesting system to study the interaction between the localized state and the host lattice in organic crystals.

Various Detrapping Processes in Anthraquinone-Doped Anthracene Crystalase from the deeper traps than 1 eV are investigated in anthraquinone-doped anthracene crystal. Further, it is reported that the enhancement of the photocurrent by the optical detrapping effects is observed in the crystal provided with non-injecting contacts, when the traps have been charged with carriers before measurements.[4, 5]
